That’s right people, there’s no rest for the wicked. On Saturday we had over 100 people at Birmingham Botanical Gardens for World Tai Chi Day. This coming Sunday we’re over in Leicester learning San Sau with Master Eli Montaigue, and then on 11th May, we’re doing a Tai Chi Demo for Walsall Council over in Walsall Wood. What with the new batch of private lessons in Sutton Coldfield on Saturday mornings, we don’t reckon Steve will have had a day off for over a month! He loves it though!
The Walsall Wood Family Fit ‘n’ Fun Day includes free swimming, Reach Up Tower, face painting and a Smoothie Bike – so there should be something to keep most age groups amused. It’s at Oak Park Leisure Centre and Walsall WoodFootball Club between 11am and 4pm, giving youngsters, teenagers and parents the chance to join in with a load of activities.
The day has been organised by the Aldridge and Beacon Area Partnership and will feature a range of organisations which will offer advice on the day including representatives from NHS Walsall, West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service and Trading Standards.
Dancing, stalls and the Move Truck will keep everyone entertained, with street dancing, Cheerleading, Zumba and Tai Chi demonstrations and a Freestyle Footballer on hand to wow the crowds! We can’t wait to find out what Freestyle Football is!!
We also can’t wait to find out whether Michael be coming along, wearing his favourite new blazer? “Knowing me, Michael Payne, knowing you, Walsall Wood Fit ‘n’ Funners – A HAAAAA!”
