So why is Steve going on about the Fun Run on May 31st when it’s only January? Why? Because the sign up starts on January 31st and I don’t want anyone to miss out, should the signup have closed without them having had a chance to join in! We are walking to raise money for The Sutton Cancer Support Centre this time and I need to raise £1000 for them. So, sign up early this year, thus avoiding disappointment. There is Fleur’s homemade pizza back at our place for survivors! Wanna come along? Here’s the info from the GMFR website about signing up:
REGISTRATION – For the safety and enjoyment of all, a maximum of 7000 entries will be accepted in 2015. Registration will end when either the maximum number of entries has been received or Friday 20th March 2015, whichever is soonest (no late entries will be accepted and no entries are accepted on the day of the Great Midlands Fun Run, Sunday, 31 May 2015). Entries will be accepted on a first to register, first to run basis.
If your on-line entry is accepted, your entry fee adults £19; juniors [14 & under on 1 June] £11; dogs £5 is non-refundable. Your official 2015 Great Midlands Fun Run sponsor form, will also act as your receipt and will only be issued after acceptance of your completed on-line entry.
So.. C’mon people, sign up on January 31st, we can do this!
