I’ve been asked this in class a couple of times recently, so for the benefit of our members and anyone else who’s interested, the Chinese New Year 2013 animal is the Snake. There are several blogposts already on this blog where you can find out more details about the Snake, Chinese New Year traditions, as well as Chinese Zodiac Years 2013. In this post, we’ll have a little fun with Chinese New Year Animals 2013.
You are said to have the characteristics of three animals, one for your birth year, one for your birth month and one for the time you were born. For example, I was born in 1961 so I’m an Ox. I was born in April so I also have some Dragon tendencies! And I was born at 2 O’Clock in the morning. More Ox. There’s a table below showing Chinese Zodiac Years 2013 and all years prior to that, which will tell you what animal you are according to the year of your birth.
